SOUTHERNPEC SHIPPING (S) PTE LTD (referred to as: Singapore Storage and Transport Base) is principally engaged in international shipping and trading of crude oils, fuel oils and oil products, transportation, refueling and offshore storage service. This is an important step for Southernpec Corporation, by relying on the favorable conditions of China and superior market environments of Singapore, to go out of the country towards the world, and is a forefront window through which Southernpec expands storage and logistics to the international field.
Singapore, a cosmopolitan commercial and economic center, has always been an important trading center, distribution center and transit depot of petrochemical resources in the world, with nearly 80 large oil companies and state-owned oil companies, and more than 150 chemical companies. As the distribution center of oil and chemicals in Asia-Pacific region, it has the unique conditions to develop offshore floating vessels, offshore refueling and international shipping, and plays a key role in integrating the upper, middle and lower resource advantages and in grasping the international trend.
Singapore Storage and Transport Base now has 11 supertankers and other professional vessels, including 4 supertanker floating vessels, 4 marine refueling vessels, and 3 foreign-going vessels, with the annual throughput, refueling amount and transport capacity exceeding 10 million tons; with the vessel refueling license issued by the Port of Singapore Authority and the floating vessel license issued by the Malaysian Government as well as vessel self-management qualification issued by France BV, it can, in Singapore, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian waters, carry out extensive crude oil and fuel oil marine storage operation and vessel refueling operation. Moreover, 1.2 million m3 FSU becomes Pu's Singapore fuel oil spot market delivery warehouse, and gives strong support to the oil trading and bunkering services of the company; the offshore buoyancy chamber has served major oil trading companies for a long time, and established a good brand and reputation; all foreign-going ships under the company have passed the inspection organized by BP, Chevron and other large oil companies and obtained the security certificates issued by German DNV, Lloyd's and other world first-class classification society. The main routes run through China, Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and even the Middle East, and the international shipping business continues development. |
